Where the Saints have Trod II

-
Fr Chad Boulton OSB
En-suite: £500.00

Embark on a walking retreat with three pilgrimages to Yorkshire's holy sites, following in the saints' footsteps.

Check in the evening before, and your first full day you'll journey from Hutton-le-Hole to Lastingham, where Ss Cedd and Chad were monks in the 7th century. On day two, we walk from Ugthorpe to Whitby Abbey, home of St. Hilda, and on day three, from Ampleforth to the 12th-century Rievaulx Abbey, where St. Aelred resided.

Each day begins with prayer, Mass, and is filled with walking, prayer stops, song, and a picnic. The walks span 4-5 hours, covering 8-10 miles.

This guided retreat includes full board and light refreshments.
