Ryevitalising the Senses - Orchard Walk and Apple Pressing SOLD OUT
We at Ampleforth Abbey are teaming up with Ryevitalise for you to discover all about the making and processing of the Abbey's famous, handcrafted apple juice and cider!
From 10:30am on Thursday 13th October the day will start with a tour around the orchard, where you can see our sixty different varieties of apples! Following this, you will then help out with the apple harvest and try out some apple pressing. Tea and cake will also be provided from the Abbey kitchen for you to enjoy and relax by the campfire.
As the afternoon approaches, we will take a tour around the cider mill and test some fresh cider. Feel free to bring your own lunch and snacks to eat around the campfire after the event; we then encourage you to take a leisurely walk around the estate to admire the Abbey during the autumn season.
This event is now sold out.
