Retreat: Mindfulness from the Christian perspective
Mindfulness has become very popular in the secular world over the past few years and has been proven to construe many therapeutic benefits to our mental health. This day will explore Mindfulness from a Christian perspective, bridging the gap between such recent interest in Mindfulness and Christian contemplative practise.
The day will be facilitated by Terry Doyle, a Benedictine Oblate with the World Community for Christian Meditation, who will aim to help us discover that the practice of Mindfulness leading to silent meditation has always had a place within contemplative Christianity.
This day retreat includes a two-course lunch and light refreshments.
