'Laudato Si' Chapter 3, The human roots of the ecological crisis' by Fr Christopher
Saturday 22nd October at 11am
As Pope Francis says in his introduction to the chapter "It would hardly be helpful to describe symptoms without acknowledging the human origins of the ecological crisis. A certain way of understanding human life and activity has gone awry, to the serious detriment of the world around us. Should we not pause and consider this? At this stage, I propose that we focus on the dominant technocratic paradigm and the place of human beings and of human action in the world."
'The Mysteries of the Rosary' by Fr Richard
Saturday 29th October at 11am
Many people find praying the Rosary difficult, and Fr Richard will attempt to bring a fresh insight into some of the Mysteries of the Rosary.
Each Home Retreat consists of a 10-15 minute reflection, and concludes with a series of suggestions for activities and further reflection throughout the day.
