Open:
To life, To faith, To prayer
Have you ever wondered what monastic life is like? It’s value is something at once simple, and difficult to grasp, summed up well in the phrase taken from the Rule of St Benedict: Searching for God. There are many ways of describing it, or what it involves, but the only way of really understanding what the life of a monk or a nun is like, and what it is about, is by living it.
This event, run by the English Benedictine Congregation, will allow you to see through a peep-hole into what is, at least in our experience, one of the most fulfilling life-choices available. The following information is taken directly from the website of the English Benedictine Congregation (https://www.benedictines.org.uk/post/open).
