As Christians we are followers of a person, not an idea, a philosophy or moral code. We are followers of Jesus and this retreat will give you an opportunity to deepen that relationship with him through reflecting on Gospel stories. No one ever encountered Jesus and remained unchanged. It is the same for us today - any encounter with Jesus will change us, challenge us and encourage us. Through the lens of the Gospel then let us journey with him and allow Jesus to touch our lives anew.

Alongside this exploration, retreatants will have the opportunity to join the Monastic Community for its daily cycle of prayer, Mass, and sessions led by monks, with ample time for personal reflection, prayer, or exploring the beautiful surroundings of Ampleforth Abbey.

 

This guided retreat includes full board and light refreshments.
