We are pleased to announce the return of our popular Abbey Church Tours.
You'll be guided by one of the Ampleforth monks, through a journey of exploration of the church's history and striking architecture. You'll visit rarely seen areas of the church including the Crypt and learn interesting facts about its many chapels and other features.
Our Visitor Centre and Abbey Shop will also be open for your to explore on the day of your tour, as well as our Tea Room, where hearty home-cooked food is served in a beautiful setting.

Accessibility:
The Abbey Church and Visitor Centre are both accessible via ramp, apart from the Crypt which is only accessible via stairs. There are public and accessible toilets at the Visitor Centre and Abbey Church and disabled parking spaces at the Visitor Car Park and outside the church.
